About Dr. Mohan Thomas

Prof. Dr. Mohan Thomas is a Certified Cosmetic Surgeon in India with a special interest in Facial Cosmetic Surgery. His undergraduate studies were at Mumbai University and holds Doctoral and Post Doctoral degrees from the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He interned at Allegheny University, Philadelphia and completed Residencies/Fellowships (at very prestigious institutions such as Mount Sinai/New York University Hospital, Health Systems and Hahnemann University Hospitals) in –

• General Surgery
• Facial Plastic and Maxillofacial Surgery
• Cosmetic Surgery

Dr. Mohan Thomas is a Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai/NYU School of Medicine and a Visiting Scholar at the Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York. He is a Certified Instructor in BLS, ACLS and ATLS. He is currently an Honorary Consultant – Cosmetic Surgery at the Breach Candy Hospital and Research Center, Asian Heart Institute and Cumballa Hill Heart Institute and Research Center, Mumbai and Vintage Hospital, Panjim Goa.

• Recipient of Award of Excellence in Cosmetic Surgery Awarded by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, JAN 2006.
